New lab paper on sexism in the 2016 US election

New paper from the lab, with student researchers Valerie Rothwell (Plante-Brisebois) and Elvira Prusaczyk.

Using nationally representative data, we find that sexism predicted voting for Trump (vs. Clinton). However, it did so more among those on the political left than right.

Why pillory Hillary? Sexism played a role, particularly for men and women on the political left who nonetheless voted for Trump.
